Note:Pelican Park Youth Football Program

Pelican Park participates in the Northshore Youth Football League (NYFL). Practices will be held at Pelican Park, while games will be played at participating league facilities throughout the Northshore area.

Please note: Participation in this program will require travel to facilities outside of Pelican Park.

Registration Fees

Registration fees include:

Game jersey
Game pants
Pair of game socks
Helmet decals
Secondary medical insurance
Game officials
Season awards

Pelican Park will charge a $5 gate fee per spectator ages 12 and older.

Please be aware that other league facilities may also charge gate fees.

Age Requirements

Age-as-of date: June 1, 2026

Athletes must be at least 5 years old by June 1, 2026 to participate.

Ages: 5–12 years old.

Practice & Game Schedule
Practices will begin the week of August 3, 2026.
Teams will practice 3 weekdays per week.
Practices will be approximately 90 minutes.
Each team will play 1 game per week.
The game season will begin September 5, 2026.

7/8: K2 Football
9/10: K2 Football
11/12: TDJ Football
Required Equipment

The following equipment is not included in the registration fee and must be provided by the athlete:

Football helmet
Mouthpiece
Shoulder pads
Practice pants
Girdle
Rubber cleats
Important Reminder

Families should be prepared for weekly travel to participating NYFL facilities for games. Game locations and schedules will be provided as they become available.
