The Castine Center, the largest event venue in St. Tammany Parish, is an elegant facility situated within the picturesque Pelican Park in Mandeville. Conveniently located just 6 miles from the Causeway Bridge, 2.2 miles from Highway 59, and 5.8 miles from Interstate 12, it is the perfect setting for any event. Caterer's Warming Kitchen: A 900 square foot kitchen with locked storage and two outdoor cooking pads for BBQs or seafood boils.
Loading Facilities: Two 18-wheeler bays and a 12' high overhead door for easy loading and unloading.
Trade Show Ready: A ceramic-tiled concourse perfect for trade show registrations or cocktail hours, with 16 electrical floor outlets and access to phone and internet services.
Restroom Facilities: Three sets of upscale men’s and women’s restrooms, with staffing provided for maintenance during events.
Recent Renovations
In June 2021, the District awarded a $2.7 million renovation project to Smith Construction of Lacombe. Upgrades included new flooring, sound attenuation in the arena, renovated restrooms, a new outdoor courtyard, and enhanced lighting with skylights in the concourse. Additional office and storage space was also created to support the growing needs of our community.
