Pelican Park Nature Programs Winter Campout

Close out 2026 with the final Pelican Park Nature Program of the year! The campout will feature a guided night hike, along with plenty of time to relax, socialize, and enjoy the outdoors at your own pace. This is an opportunity to connect with the local naturalist community and enjoy the pleasures of Louisiana camping in the cooler months.
There are restrooms and showers adjacent to the campsite. There are no electrical hook ups at the group camp site.
What to Bring:
Tent and sleeping gear (sleeping bag, sleeping pad, pillow)
Camping chair
Warm layers for chilly December temperatures
Headlamp or flashlight
Reusable water bottle
Snacks and food for personal meals
Personal toiletries and any necessary medications
Comfortable, closed-toe shoes for the night hike
Power bank to charge devices.
