Come join the 2026 Baseball season at Pelican Park, where the boys will learn America’s favorite game…. BASEBALL. At the recreation level your child will learn how to hit, throw, and field a baseball, while they are learning and improving their techniques of baseball they will also benefit from teamwork, sportsmanship, and most of all having FUN with their friends.

The Baseball program at Pelican Park is designed for all talent levels of players from the new player to the very experienced player. The 7 & 8-year-old age groups will be coach pitch and will be introduced to having an official, scores and standings being kept. Kid Pitch starts at 9-year-old. The 9 & 10-year-old age group cannot steal until the ball crosses the plate. At age 11-year-old and up the players are allowed lead off and steal bases.

- Age as of date 5/1/26.
- Evaluations are held for ages 7 and above. Evaluation schedules will be available at registration & online.
- Players MUST attend evaluations to be eligible to be a pool player or to be eligible to pitch (age 9 and above).
- Practices will begin the week of March 16th, 2026 and games will begin April 11th, 2026. (2 games – 1 weekday & 1 weekend game and one practice per week) The season may continue through the end of June depending on the weather.
- 12 games with a single elimination tournament for ages 7 and above.
- Some age groups may be combined depending on the number of registrants, which will be determined after registration ends.
- The season will conclude in the last couple weeks of June and can go to June 29th if there is inclement weather during the season.
