Programs
The Friends of Pelican Park Inc. have been in existence since 1998. It is a 501c3, non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to enhance Pelican Park’s facilities and programs.
Past projects include the playground at the Orange complex, the 12-station health trail located along the park’s walking paths, resurfacing of playground surfaces and purchasing trees as part of the District’s reforestation project. Additionally, this amazing organization supports Pelican Park scholarships for local children in need, so every child has an opportunity to play sports regardless of their financial constraints.
